I am an executive with experience in marketing: B2C & B2B within the following industries:  Telecommunications/Cable, Education, Internet, Legal, Publishing & Retail.  I’ve worked at AT&T, The Macy’s Group, LexisNexis a division of Reed Elsevier and a few smaller firms (my own consulting business started in 2007) including an academic publisher for digital textbooks called AcademicPub (and SharedBook) as the Vice President, Marketing. I find ways using traditional marketing, digital marketing, Database Marketing, loyalty marketing and product marketing to grow revenue while I reduce expense by analyzing marketing and business results, testing and rolling out effective campaigns & segmentation.  I’ve managed large and small teams in start-ups and Fortune 100 companies.

I have business experience spanning Brand Management, Customer Relationship Management, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Web Optimization, Social Media, e-Commerce, Retail Marketing, Loyalty, and P&L responsibility.  I’ve led marketing divisions in capturing market share & improved sales.

I am also an Adjunct Professor at The Rutgers Business School in New Jersey.  I teach MBA and undergraduate students about Marketing & Business. I’ve taught Introduction to Marketing using existing course materials.  I created three different courses for The Rutgers Business School – creating my own custom materials, syllabus, slides, and tests.  And, I was a substitute professor for Market Research.

Besides traditional domestic business & marketing, international marketing grows your business exponentially – try a 10% revenue increase by adding Canada into your business plans.  Or try another ‘huge bump’ in your revenue by adding international markets.  In the past, I’ve added, Canada, Australia, and European countries to Search Engine Marketing, digital marketing, direct mail and integrated marketing campaigns.  Revenue grows exponentially with other countries, and I’ve added other countries from Japan to China, and many South American countries too.  Digital and on-line marketing is a phenomenal way to reach these markets.  Your business can really grow exponentially – 50% or more.

You want to grow revenue domestically, try the Hispanic market and bi-lingual marketing.  Over 50 Million Hispanics and over 30 million Spanish speakers (at home) live in the US.  Craft your marketing and business strategies to focus on this market.  You can grow revenue exponentially with the right business & marketing strategy.  These are attractive customers and a growing market segment in the US.

On a more personal note, I have hobbies and a family.  I enjoy helping people either with pro bono marketing support or actually feeding the poor.  I have gone on mission trips to Haiti & Nicaragua.  The Nicaragua trip was with my daughter, Delaney and some other teens from church.  The Haiti trip occurred just prior to the devastating earthquake.  I came back with many stories for my church and my family.  When the earthquake hit, our community sent even more to the people of Haiti.  We came together and sent shipping containers of food.  My proudest moment was seeing my eldest daughter take charge of a High School Relief concert.  She was only a sophomore in high school, and she produced a relief concert for the people of Haiti.  She did it with our help, the church, the school community and the people of our town.  We were able to send over $7,000 to the Missionaries of the Poor in Haiti for the direct relief of earthquake victims.  She says she was inspired by my stories of the people in Haiti – she just wanted to help.  Now, she is in college and getting a degree in Event & Media Management with an international minor.

She continued the relief concert series the next year for the Japanese tsunami victims and my son and other daughter put on a concert last year for Sandy Hurricane victims.  This is my family, we care about people and we know how to get things done.

I’ve been a board member for Family Promise of Morris County, New Jersey.  I’ve also donated digital marketing support such as websites and marketing consulting to charities.
